SPECIAL WINTER 2013 EVENTS
Friday Night Open Roller Skate— Friday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Children 8 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older. Cost is $3.00. Families are invited to come at 6:00 for early entry as long as an adult 18 years or older is present. Personal skates are allowed as long as they have not been worn outside. No scooters or roller blades please.
Middle School Fun Night- Kids in grades 6, 7, and 8 are invited to a fun night the third Friday of each month October through March. from 8-9:30 pm after open roller skate. Kids can participate in open gym activities and purchase items from the concession stand. Fun Night admission is $3. Come to Open skate and Fun Night for $5 total!
WINTER 2012-2013 YOUTH PROGRAMS
GYMNASTICS CLASSES winter 2012-2013
Open to boys & girls 3 years and older involving all of the pieces of men’s and women’s gymnastics. Bars, beam, vault, floor, rings, high bar and pommel horse will be covered. Classes meet one day a week Mondays or Wednesday.

DANCE winter 2013
So you think you can dance? Would you like to try? Not sure which style to focus on? Try the Happy Feet Dance Class at the Bellevue Community Center led by Kelli Robinson. Class instruction will include the basic skills of : Ballet, Jazz, and Acro. Class are Wednesday nights for 5 weeks. Children 3-8 years meet 5:30-6:15 pm, Members: $20 Non-Members: $30. CHEER winter 2013
Are you interested in Cheerleading? Join the Bellevue Recreation Department Electric All Stars. Instructor Alexis McConnell will be offering six week sessions at the Bellevue City Centre*. Beginner CheerAges: 4-8 will learn basic motions, jumps, cheers, chants, games and dances. This is for anyone that wants to learn or improve basics cheerleading skills. Class meets 5:00-5:45pm
Intermediate Cheer: Ages 6-11 will learn intermediate cheers, chants, games, and dances. Cheerleaders should have common knowledge of basic cheerleading skills such as motions and jumps. Students will be introduced to the basics of tumbling such as cartwheels, forward rolls, round offs, and back bends. Class meets 5:45-6:45pm
Advanced Cheer: Ages 8-15 will learn advanced cheers, chants, games, and dances. Cheerleaders must have common knowledge of basic cheerleading skills and be able to do forward rolls and cartwheels. Cheerleaders will improve their tumbling and be introduced to basic stunting skills. 6:45-7:45pm
Members $25 Non-members $35 . Sign up in person at the Bellevue Community Center.

INTRODUCTION TO WRESTLING winter 2012-2013
We put the FUN in fundamentals with this introduction to wrestling for youngsters 4-8 years old. Perfect setting for young wrestlers looking for a positive first experience. No special equipment is needed, just gym shoes. Parent participation encouraged. Members $16.00 Non- members $27.00 Thursday evenings 6-6:50pm in the Community Room. BULL DOGS WRESTLING winter 2012-2013
This programs is for youths ages 6 and up who are ready for more advanced wrestling instruction. Continue learning new skills, rules, various positions and moves, when and how to use moves in offensive or defensive situations. For those who want the opportunity to put skills learned to use may compete in local matches. Meet participation is optional and entry fees are not included in the program fee. Classes meet in the Community Room on Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:30-6:45 pm . Center Members: $25, Non-Members $44. Register for both sessions of Bull Dog Wrestling and receive a discount, Members $40 Non-Members $74. Register in person at the Bellevue Community Center.

LITTLE DUNKERS BASKETBALL 2013 REGISTRATION CLOSED
This program is intended to get new players ages 4-6 started in the fun game of basketball. Boys and girls will learn fundamentals with emphasis on playing games and having fun. Adjustable backboards will be used to ensure a positive first experience. A perfect setting for young players to get started. Wednesdays starting January 9th for 5 weeks from 5:15 – 6:15 pm. First practice will be Thursday, November 8th 7-8:30pm at the Bellevue Community Center. Practice schedule to be determined based on facility availability. Open to any boys not currently playing on a school team. No cuts, everyone placed on a team. Cost of programs includes a team uniform, court or practice time, quality instruction, and a 10 game schedule. Games played on Saturday afternoons against local teams unless otherwise noted. BOYS 9th-12th GRADE SENIOR S.H.O.E. TRAVEL BASKETBALL LEAGUE 2012-2013 REGISTRATION CLOSED
Sign up and open gym will be held Tuesday Nov. 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th from 7-8:30 pm. Adult coaches will draft teams on Nov. 20th. Games will be played on Tuesday evenings. Students will train with Black Belt Sensei Carl Gault 2nd dan while learning the fundamentals of martial arts including blocking, and striking techniques, abduction prevention, training exercises, traditional Kata, sparring, board breaking, joint locks, karate history and much more. Youth Class meets 5-6pm.
